Brisbane Airport is 15 kilometres from Brisbane's Central Business District (CBD) where our AMC hotel is located.

To get from the airport to the voco, an IHG Hotel, Brisbane City Centre, you have the following transport options: 

1. Airtrain - 20 minutes to Roma Street Station

There are train stations at both the Domestic and International terminals of Brisbane Airport. Follow the train icon signs to find the station. Airtrain is the fastest and economical way to travel with tickets starting at just $16.

If you want to purchase tickets on arrival at the Airtrain Station you can buy a paper ticket, travel using a Queensland go card or travel using contactless payment. To use contactless payment, you must touch on with a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express on the train station gates and card readers. You can use a physical contactless debit or credit card, smartphone, smart watch or smart device.

After departing the train at Roma Street Station, it is a mere 10-minute walk to reach voco, an IHG Hotel, venue for the 2025 Brisbane AMC.

2. Taxi  

Passengers can expect to pay $45 - $55 one way for a trip from Brisbane Airport to voco, the AMC hotel. Outside of peak periods, it is approximately a 20-minute drive from the airport to the city. 

Taxis are available 24/7 from sheltered ranks right outside the Domestic and International Terminals. During peak times, Kerbside Officers are on hand to assist. Follow the Taxi signs in the terminals.

3. Rideshare & Uber

Uber, Didi, ola and Sheba rideshares have designated pick-up zones at Brisbane Airport. The average price is $45 dependent upon time of day and how many riders are making the request.

Simply order your rideshare using your preferred app and follow the signs to the designated Rideshare Booking areas to meet with your driver.

You can use Uber's fare estimator or your rideshare app to work out the cost of your trip. Please note that a fee of $4.54 is added to your fare if you're using a rideshare service from the airport.
